Carol Snow is an artist of Seneca descent whom we have known
for almost twenty years. The original pen & ink and watercolor drawings on this page are from
the early 90's, when she was concentrating on a very intense and personal
depiction of the animals that fill her life. A holder of two degrees in Zoology,
Carol has spent a lifetime studying her subjects. Carol has changed her
technique to include oils since these pieces were created, so we're calling
these paintings "CLASSIC CAROL SNOW".

| Description: |
This fine painting depicts a male Pronghorn Antelope. The pose
gives this important creature the nobility and pride of royalty. Ranging

animal in North America and second only to the Cheetah in the world.
Able to endure desert heat and bitter cold, it is an amazing animal,
deserving the distinction given it in this excellent painting. |

| Description: |
This is the deer with which most of us are familiar.
Ranging all across North America, the Whitetail Deer is representative
of all the traits we think of in a prey species. They are quiet,
cautious and shy, and a keen observer of the world around them. If
you're ever accused of seeing life through "Deer Eyes", consider it a
compliment! As always, Carol's depiction of this Buck lends it a royal
flavor. |
