The stripped hull of the Endion weighs around 1000 lb. (just a guess). I left the bow and stern decks in place, and put two T-beams across the gunwales in the open part of the boat, to add support when it was half-over. I used a combination of two methods - the boat was suspended in two slings, with which we raised and lowered it; and we worked the lowest part across the floor on a wheeled dolly. Although it may look like it here, it took more thought than muscle (the chain hoists did all the lifting), and we didn't scratch it a bit. I'm confident I can reverse the procedure when the time comes. In most of these photos, I'm off to the left on the haul rope.
